Beaglio Terms of Service

1. Provider and contact

  1. Beaglio (beaglio.com) is run by Bartosz Kuć, a sole trader registered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), Polish tax ID (NIP) 7393933151; place of residence: Warsaw, address: ul. Puławska 49/10, 02-508 Warszawa, Poland ("we", "us").
  2. Contact for all matters: info@beaglio.com. We communicate in Polish and English.
  3. This address is also our point of contact under Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) — for users and for the authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services. You can contact us in Polish or English.
  4. These terms govern the use of Beaglio. They are terms for services provided by electronic means within the meaning of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

2. Definitions

3. What Beaglio does

  1. Beaglio automatically checks official public legal sources and emails you digests that match your watches. Each digest item is information about a document (including its title, type and date) with a link to its text in the official source.
  2. The current list of supported countries and sources is on beaglio.com. Only countries marked as active are part of the service.
  3. The service includes:
    1. signing up and adding watches with the form on beaglio.com;
    2. digests sent daily or once a week (on Monday), as you choose; if we find nothing new, we send nothing;
    3. the panel — adding and removing watches, choosing the digest frequency and the message language (Polish or English), entering an access code and unsubscribing.
  4. We check sources automatically, usually once a day. Titles are given in the language of the source; titles of EU acts are given in English.
  5. Beaglio does not interpret the law, does not assess the effects of changes and does not provide legal services. A digest is a "check this" signal: only the text published in the official source is binding. Beaglio is an auxiliary tool and does not replace checking the sources yourself.
  6. Beaglio is independent and not affiliated with the institutions that run the sources.
  7. Screens and examples on the website are illustrative. The service consists of the features described in these terms and available in the panel. It does not yet include, among other things, API and webhook access, team features, an alerts inbox or a coverage dashboard — if we make them available, we will describe them in these terms.
  8. We also send you service messages: confirmation requests, information about changes to these terms, the service or your plan, security notices and replies to your messages. We may send marketing messages only with your separate consent.

4. Test version

  1. Beaglio is in a test (beta) version. We develop it continuously, so features may change, and errors and interruptions may occur. Changes to the service are governed by section 9.
  2. Using Beaglio is free of charge. The test version does not automatically turn into a paid one, and we do not collect payment details.
  3. We may include a short request for feedback about Beaglio in digests; replying is voluntary. We may use comments and ideas you send us to develop Beaglio; we do not publish them with your details without your consent.

5. Plans and access codes

  1. Plans: Free, Tropiciel and Sfora. Free covers one country and up to 3 active watches. Tropiciel and Sfora currently have no limit on watches or countries. Your plan and its limits are shown in the panel.
  2. We do not accept payments yet — Tropiciel and Sfora are available only with an access code. Prices on the website are indicative. Before we start accepting payments, we will add rules on ordering, payment, invoices and withdrawal to these terms; they will apply only to paid orders.
  3. An access code:
    1. is given to the person it is intended for — do not pass it on;
    2. is entered in the sign-up form or in the panel; letter case does not matter;
    3. is single-use unless we say otherwise when giving it to you: it is used up when it upgrades your plan, and from then on the plan is assigned to the email address for which the code was used; a code is not used up if you already have the same or a higher plan;
    4. has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money;
    5. may be entered incorrectly in the panel at most 5 times a day.
  4. At your request, we may move your plan to another email address of yours.
  5. A tester code (a code given to you as a tester, e.g. with an invitation to test Beaglio) gives you the Sfora plan free of charge and with no time limit: for as long as we provide the service in the Sfora plan or in a plan that replaces it. The scope of the plan may change under section 9, and we will announce the end of the service in this plan at least 30 days in advance. As part of testing, we may also ask testers for feedback in separate messages, no more than once a month; replying is voluntary. If you do not want such messages, write to info@beaglio.com — we will stop sending them and you keep the Sfora plan.

6. Conclusion of the contract and access to the panel

  1. To start, you enter your email address and watches in the form on beaglio.com. We send a message with a confirmation link, valid for 24 hours, to that address. The contract is concluded when you confirm — by confirming, you accept these terms, which we make available before you sign up. Without confirmation, we send nothing further.
  2. The contract is free of charge and concluded for an indefinite period.
  3. Every further submission through the website form (including for an address already using Beaglio) requires confirmation via a link. In the panel you change your watches without additional confirmation.
  4. Beaglio may be used by adults and, on behalf of companies and other organisations, by persons authorised to act for them.
  5. You access the panel via a link in our messages. If we offer other ways to sign in, such as a password or a Google account, we will describe them in the panel. Keep your access details to yourself: anyone who has the panel link from our message can change your watches or unsubscribe you, so do not forward messages containing this link.
  6. If you suspect that someone else has access to your panel, write to info@beaglio.com — we will help you secure your access.

7. Rules of use

  1. Use Beaglio in accordance with the law and these terms. In particular, you may not:
    1. enter unlawful content in watches, labels or messages to us;
    2. sign up someone else's email address to Beaglio without the owner's consent;
    3. disrupt Beaglio, e.g. by submitting forms en masse by automated means, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to data or systems;
    4. circumvent the limits of the Free plan by one person creating multiple accounts.
  2. If you find a security vulnerability, write to info@beaglio.com.
  3. We check the content of watches and labels automatically only for format (e.g. phrase length, a valid act identifier, a keyword from the source's list). Anyone — including a person who does not use Beaglio — can report unlawful content to info@beaglio.com. In the report, explain why the content is unlawful, give details that allow us to find it (e.g. the account's email address), your name and email address, and a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in the report is accurate and complete. We will confirm receipt of the report and inform you of our decision. Decisions to remove content are made by a person. We may remove a watch or label that violates the law or these terms — we will tell you by email and give the reason; you can appeal against this decision by replying to that message.
  4. If the mail server permanently rejects our messages or our message is marked as spam, we treat this as unsubscribing (section 10.1) and block sending to that address. If you want to come back, write to info@beaglio.com.

8. Technical requirements and security

  1. You need internet access, an email address and an email program, and an up-to-date browser (e.g. Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) with JavaScript enabled. We send digests in HTML format with a plain-text version. We do not charge for data transmission — you bear connection costs under your agreement with your internet provider.
  2. Your browser stores data needed for the website to work (e.g. your chosen language). The privacy policy describes what we store and why.
  3. Using the internet involves typical risks, such as messages impersonating known senders (phishing) and malware. We send digests and confirmation requests from alerty@alerts.beaglio.com. We never ask you to send your password by email. Keep your software up to date and your mailbox protected.

9. Availability and changes to the service

  1. We endeavour to keep Beaglio running without interruption and to make digests complete and timely. However, the service depends on the sources — which may change their format or access rules, publish late or be unavailable — and on email and infrastructure providers. A digest may therefore arrive late or be incomplete, and exceptionally may not arrive at all. We do not guarantee that we will catch every change in the law.
  2. Results also depend on your watches: a phrase that is too narrow, or that is not among the terms used by the source, may find nothing.
  3. We may carry out technical breaks, where possible short and at low-traffic times.
  4. We may change the service for valid reasons: to develop or improve it (provided the change does not limit the service or your plan), for security reasons, because of changes in the sources (including their shutdown or new terms of use), changes in the law or decisions of authorities, or changes at providers on which the service depends. A change will not involve any cost to you.
  5. We will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance of a change that significantly limits the service or your plan (e.g. withdrawal of a country, source, feature or plan, or a lower limit). If the cause is beyond our control (e.g. a source has stopped working), we will inform you without delay. In any case, you can stop using the service (section 10.1).

10. Termination

  1. You can stop using Beaglio at any time, without giving reasons and at no cost: via the "Unsubscribe" link in every digest, in the panel ("Unsubscribe from everything"), with the unsubscribe button in your email program (if it supports this — sending stops immediately and we delete your watches by the next day at the latest) or by writing to info@beaglio.com. Unsubscribing deletes your watches; the privacy policy describes what happens to your data.
  2. If you are a consumer, you can also withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving reasons — unsubscribing or an email to info@beaglio.com is enough. You may, but do not have to, use the model withdrawal form (Annex 2 to the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014). The service is free, so withdrawal costs nothing.
  3. We may terminate the contract with 30 days' notice, sent by email, for a valid reason: Beaglio ceasing to operate, permanent loss of access to the sources, or a change in the law that prevents or significantly hinders the provision of the service.
  4. We may terminate the contract without notice if you grossly or persistently breach these terms (section 7.1). If the breach can be remedied, we will first ask you by email to stop it. We will tell you by email the reason for termination and how to appeal.

11. Liability

  1. The institutions that publish legal acts and documents are responsible for their content.
  2. For businesses, we provide the service "as is" and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage resulting from a digest not arriving, arriving late, being incomplete or containing errors, or for lost profits. This does not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
  3. For consumers, we are liable under the applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit any rights a consumer has under provisions that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

12. Complaints

  1. Send complaints — e.g. if Beaglio does not work in line with these terms — to info@beaglio.com. Say what the complaint concerns and give the email address you use with Beaglio; it also helps to say when the problem occurred.
  2. We will reply by email within 14 days of receiving the complaint.
  3. A consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, e.g. ask a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) in Poland for help. Information about these procedures and the authorised bodies is on the website of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl). Consumers from other EU countries can also contact the European Consumer Centre in their country. If we do not uphold a consumer's complaint, we will say whether we agree to out-of-court dispute resolution.

13. Rights to Beaglio and to digests

  1. Beaglio's software, design, name and logos are protected by law. You may use them to the extent needed to use the service.
  2. Information in digests comes from official sources. We name the sources in the footer of every digest because the licences of some of them require it. You may use digests for your own purposes, including professional ones.

14. Personal data

We are the controller of your personal data. The privacy policy describes how we process it: beaglio.com/en/privacy.

15. Changes to these terms

  1. We may change these terms for valid reasons: changes in the law or decisions of authorities, changes to the scope or manner of providing the service (including the launch of paid plans), changes in the sources, security reasons, or to clarify provisions or correct errors.
  2. We will inform you of a change by email and on the website at least 14 days before it takes effect, and we will attach the new terms with a description of the changes. A change that limits the service or your plan will take effect no earlier than after 30 days (section 9.5). If you do not accept the change, you can stop using the service at no cost before it takes effect; if you do not, the change becomes binding on you.
  3. Changes required quickly by law or by the security of the service may take effect sooner, as may changes solely to your benefit.
  4. We publish every version of these terms with its date. Previous versions are available on the website, and on request we will send you the version that applied to you.

16. Final provisions

  1. The contract is governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the provisions of that country that cannot be excluded by contract.
  2. These terms are available free of charge at beaglio.com/en/terms in a form that allows you to download, save and print them. They are available in Polish and English; in case of discrepancies the Polish version prevails, but for consumers the version more favourable to them applies.
  3. People who signed up before 29 September 2026 are bound by these terms from the 14th day after we send them these terms by email, unless they stop using the service earlier.
